PCS Stratgy & Prepration

PCS exam is one of the most difficult exams to clear. Conducted by PPSE, this exam requires proper PCS strategy and preparation. Working on both PCS strategy and preparation an aspirant can clear the exam. The first hurdle is to clear prelims. For PCS prelims, students need to work hard on the basic concept. Questions are objective type and GS can easily be handled by studying NCERT books from class 7th to 8th. Test Series for PCS

SNM will conduct PCS test series on both Paper 1 and Paper 2 as in the case of actual PCS exam. The paper 1 test will consist of 100 marks will equal emphasis on all the sections i.e history , geography, economy, polity, sciences , environment and Punjab. There will be 6 tests of a level similar to that of PCS.

Each test will consist of 100 questions and the time limit will be two hours. Each question will be of two marks and there will be no negative marking. Similarly for paper 2 commonly referred as CSAT there will be eight tests. Each test will consist of 80 questions each question carrying 2.5 marks as prescribed by PPSC. Equal emphasis would be given to each section i.e reasoning, quantitative aptitude, verbal ability , communication , comprehensive skills and Punjabi language. There will be individual as well as combined cut off for the exams. The total exam would be of 400 marks with each section of 200 marks.
